Sermon Text: 1 Timothy 4:1-5
The songs we will sing this week include the following, provided in a YouTube playlist here and a Spotify playlist here:
Psalm 148:1-5
All Creatures of Our God and King
By Faith
Psalm 73:25-28
Christ is Mine Forevermore
Be Thou My Vision
Romans 11:33-36
This Sunday we gather in worship to celebrate God as our Creator and Provider under the theme, “Everything God Made Is Good; Receive with Gratitude.” From the opening call to worship in Psalm 148 to the final benediction from Romans 11, we will be reminded that all of creation sings the praise of its Maker.
Our songs will echo this truth: All Creatures of Our God and King lifting our voices with creation, By Faith confessing our dependence on God, and Christ is Mine Forevermore declaring that Christ is our true treasure.
The Word from 1 Timothy 4:1–5 will remind us that God’s good gifts: food, fellowship, and freedom in Christ. These are to be received with thanksgiving, not rejected with fear. Together, we will fix our eyes on Christ above all and depart with the blessing: “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever.”
