This Sunday we gather to worship the Creator and Redeemer, whose Word spoke all things into existence and whose glory fills heaven and earth. From Psalm 33 and Revelation 5, we are called to join creation and the heavenly host in declaring that He alone is worthy of all praise. Through songs like All Creatures of Our God and King, All Praise to Him, and Is He Worthy?, we will exalt God’s power, goodness, and saving work. The message from Genesis 1 and John 1 will point us to Christ, the eternal Word through whom all things were made and by whom all things are redeemed. We will respond with Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery, fixing our eyes on the beauty of the gospel. As we go, we will give glory to God, from whom and through whom and to whom are all things.
