This Sunday we continue our Advent journey with the theme Always Prepare—a call to ready our hearts for the coming of the Lord. Our worship will open with Isaiah 40:3–5, declaring, “Prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” As we light the Advent candle and sing Angels from the Realms of Glory and There Is One Gospel, we’ll rejoice in the good news of salvation that has come through Christ. The message from Genesis 1–3 will remind us of God’s perfect creation, humanity’s fall, and the promise of redemption fulfilled in Jesus. Through the Lord’s Supper, we will remember His sacrifice and anticipate His return, rejoicing in the hope of new life He has set before us. We’ll close with the Doxology, giving glory to the One who reigns forever and calls us to prepare our hearts for His coming.
