This Sunday we gather to praise the Lord whose name is exalted above all the earth and whose faithfulness sustains His people. Through All Creatures of Our God and King, Christ the Sure and Steady Anchor, and My Labour Is Not in Vain, we will celebrate the greatness of God and the assurance that our labor in Christ is never wasted. The reading from 1 Corinthians 15 will remind us that Christ’s victory over death gives eternal significance to our faithfulness and service. The message from 1 Timothy 6:1–2 will challenge us to honor God through our work, relationships, and conduct, recognizing that our daily lives are opportunities to display the beauty of the gospel. We will respond with All My Boast Is in Jesus, confessing that our hope and righteousness rest in Christ alone. As we depart with the blessing of Hebrews 13, we will trust our risen Shepherd to equip us for every good work, bringing glory to His name in all that we do.
