This Sunday we will gather to worship the Lord with reverence and joy as we lift our voices together in praise. Our call to worship from Psalm 66:1–4 will invite us to “shout for joy to God” and proclaim the glory of His name. Through hymns of exaltation and adoration like “Crown Him with Many Crowns” and “Holy, Holy, Holy,” we will declare the majesty and holiness of our great God. In a responsive reading from Romans 10:8–13, we will confess our faith and rejoice in the assurance that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
As we continue in worship, “Ancient of Days” will lead us in devotion and consecration, reminding us that God’s kingdom stands forever. During the offering, we will reflect on 1 Chronicles 29:14, acknowledging that all we give comes first from His gracious hand. The message from Luke 12:49–53 will challenge us with the refining truth of Christ’s mission and the cost of faithful discipleship. We will respond by singing “Whate’er My God Ordains is Right,” expressing our trust in God’s sovereign and perfect will. Finally, a benediction from Hebrews 12:28–29 will send us out with gratitude for a kingdom that cannot be shaken, calling us to offer acceptable worship with reverence and awe.
