Sermon Text: 1 Timothy 4:12-14
The songs we will sing this week include the following, provided in a YouTube playlist here and a Spotify playlist here:
Psalm 9:1-2
Standing on the Promises
Jesus, What a Friend For Sinners
2 Timothy 2:1-3
O Church Arise
1 Timothy 4:11-16
Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery
Philippians 1:9-11
This Sunday we will gather to praise the Lord with grateful hearts, declaring with the psalmist, “I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart.” Through songs like Standing on the Promises and Jesus, What a Friend for Sinners, we’ll remember God’s faithfulness and grace toward His people. Our Scripture reading from 2 Timothy 2:1–3 will call us to be strong in the grace of Christ and to endure faithfully in service to Him. The message from 1 Timothy 4:12–14 will encourage believers of all ages to set an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. We’ll close with Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery, lifting our eyes to Christ, the source of all wisdom and righteousness, and depart praying that our love may grow to the glory and praise of God.
