This Sunday we gather to worship the Lord who is our strength, our refuge, and our deliverer. With the words of Psalm 18 we will declare our love for God, and through songs like A Mighty Fortress and Come Praise and Glorify we will rejoice in His power and saving grace. Psalm 130 will lead us to humble confession, reminding us that with the Lord there is forgiveness and steadfast love, a truth we will echo in Only a Holy God. The message from Luke 12:57–59 will call us to discern rightly, respond wisely, and live with urgency before the Lord. We will respond with His Mercy Is More, rejoicing that our hope rests not in ourselves but in God’s abundant mercy. We will be sent out with the promise that the Lord is able to keep us from stumbling and to present us with great joy in His presence.
