Sermon Text: 1 Timothy 5:3-16
The songs we will sing this week include the following, provided in a YouTube playlist here and a Spotify playlist here:
Psalm 34:1-3
How Great (Psalm 145)
Behold Our God
John 15:4-8
Yet Not I, But Through Christ in Me
1 Timothy 5:3-16
Before the Throne of God Above
Apostles' Creed
Consecration Prayer
Communion
Doxology
This Sunday we gather to bless the Lord together, magnifying the greatness and goodness of our God. Through How Great (Psalm 145), Behold Our God, and Yet Not I, But Through Christ in Me, we will be reminded that our strength and fruitfulness come from abiding in Christ rather than ourselves. The message from 1 Timothy 5:3–16 will continue to consider how genuine faith is lived out through faithful care, responsibility, and compassion within the family of God. We will respond with Before the Throne of God Above, resting in the finished work and ongoing intercession of Christ on our behalf. At the Lord’s Table, we will remember His body given and blood poured out for us while looking forward to the day when we will feast with Christ in His Father’s kingdom. We will close with the Doxology, giving all praise to the God from whom every blessing flows.
