Sermon Text: Luke 13:6-9
The songs we will sing this week include the following, provided in a YouTube playlist here and a Spotify playlist here:
Psalm 118:19-24
Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing
Living Hope
2 Peter 3:8-12
Yet Not I, But Through Christ In Me
Luke 13:6-9
Our God Will Go Before Us
Hebrews 10:22-23
This Sunday we gather to rejoice in the salvation the Lord has given, declaring with Psalm 118, “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Through songs like Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing and Living Hope, we will celebrate the grace of God that rescues and sustains His people. Scripture from 2 Peter will remind us to live with watchful hearts as we await the day of the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing. The message from Luke 13:6–9 will call us to repentance and fruitfulness, urging us not to presume on God’s patience but to respond to His mercy. We will answer with Our God Will Go Before Us, resting in the faithfulness of the One who leads His people. We depart encouraged to hold fast to our hope, knowing that the God who promises is faithful.
